Sam Elgert was named head golf coach in Nov. 2023. Elgert graduated in three years from Midland University with a bachelor's degree in digital marketing while playing golf for the Warriors. A graduate of Yutan High School, Elgert has been assisting the YHS golf squad for the last three years. Over that time, he has helped the Chieftans qualify for four state medals, three conference championships and three district runner-up trophies.
