The Central Community College volleyball team was defeated by Ellsworth Community College, 3-1, on Monday night in Columbus, NE.

The Raiders were able to split the first 2 sets, losing the first 25-16 then bouncing back in a 25-18 win. The 3rd set was very even, but we saw Ellsworth pull away late and win it 25-19. The last set had some amazing back-and-forth rallies as well, but Ellsworth was able to pull it out in extras 28-26, giving them the 3-1 win. 

The CCC Volleyball team collectively had a whooping 127 digs with Maleigha Johnson leading with 31. Liv Swanson tallied 10 kills and Libbie Ball had 48 assists.

The Raiders move to 16-15 and are in action this Wednesday vs. Cloud County CC
