Following her senior campaign, she was named to the Lincoln Journal-Star All-State 1st Team, the Omaha World-Herald 2nd Team and the All-Heartland 3rd Team. Tompkin earned multiple honorable mention honors during her junior, sophomore and freshman years.

"I am looking forward to making new friends and memories while playing the game I love," said Tompkin, who also participates in basketball and track at GHS.

For her career, Tompkin made 972 kills, 436 digs, 265 blocks and 60 aces.

"We are pumped to welcome Cassidy to the Raider family," said CCC head coach Abby Pollart. "Cassidy will bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to go along with her athleticism and great work ethic on the court. We look for her to make a solid impact in the front row this season."

Tompkin will major in business administration at CCC. She is the daughter of Devin and Rachelle Tompkin of Giltner.
