CCC's Clara Reis scored the game-winning goal with 2:48 to play to lift the Raiders to a 1-0 win over 11th-ranked Allen County Community College at Raider Field on Saturday. Sydney Weiler provided the assist as CCC snapped a two-game slide.
CCC netminder logged 16 saves on the day. "Natalie played her best game as a Raider," said CCC head coach Jamie Bennett.
Bennett went on to say that he was pleased with Saturday's effort.
"We were all disappointed with Wednesday's loss," said Bennett. "So, for us to come out and play the way we did against Allen County was great to see. Now, we just need to get some consistency and continue to play well."
With the win, CCC is 2-6 on the season.
Up next, the Raiders will travel to Southeast Community College on Wednesday for a 2 p.m. contest.
