Tre'vion Crawford scored 28 points to lead the Central Community College men's basketball team to a 96-79 win at Northeast Community College on Wednesday night.
Roman Behrens (pictured) scored 20 points, while Nathan Frost logged a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Tre Mikkelsen scored 13 points. While the offensive numbers were impressive, CCC head coach John Ritzdorf noted the assist numbers.
"We assisted on 29 of 40 made baskets and did a great job of finding the open man," said Ritzdorf. "Offensively, that was the best we've moved the ball all season."
Defensively, the Raiders held the Hawks to 29 percent field goal shooting in the second half.
"I loved how we competed on the defensive end of the floor against a very talented team," said Ritzdorf.
The victory improves CCC's record to 10-7.
The Raiders return to action on Friday with meeting against Doane University JV in Crete. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
