Jamie Bennett

Bio

Jamie Bennett is in his sixth year leading the CCC women’s soccer team.

In 2022, 23' and 24' Bennett led the Raiders to the Region 9 championship and was named Region 9 Coach of the Year. in 2024, Five CCC players earned All-Region 9 honors and the team earned NJCAA Academic Team of the Year honors. It was the sixth consecutive year in program history that CCC women’s soccer earned NJCAA Academic Team honors.

A CCC alum, Bennett joined the Raiders in 1991 after playing on the inaugural boys soccer team at Columbus High School. He later played on the club soccer team at Wayne State College while earning a degree in criminal justice. Bennett later spent five years as the head coach of the CHS boys squad and two years leading the girls team. He served as an assistant coach for the CCC men's soccer squad in 2017 and has skippered various club teams in the Columbus area.

Bennett and his wife Julie have been married for 26 years and they are the parents of three children.
