"We had great support from our parents and families in Charleston," said Young. "I've always thought we had the best fans and it was awesome to be awarded the Sportsmanship Award."

With the victory, the Raiders finish the 2017 season with a mark of 36-11.

"Overall this a been such a great year of adversity and many teams would have given up," said Young. "I'm so proud of my team and it's been a great ride with them. We will really miss our sophomores. They are not only great athletes, but tremendous young ladies."
