Volleyball: CCC Signs Mallory Gotschall

Central Community College volleyball is pleased to announce the signing of Lakeview High School senior libero Mallory Gotschall.

According to the Columbus Telegram, Gotschall holds the Lakeview record for career digs with 1,291. She is also a prolific server, ranking among the leaders in serve attempts and serve percentage. Gotschall was coached at Lakeview by K.C. Belitz (standing right)

"We are thrilled to have another Gotschall girl in our program as Mallory's sister, Molly, played for us a few years back," said CCC head coach Mary Young (standing left). "Mallory told me many years ago it was her goal to play for the Raiders so it's been fun to see it all fall into place for all of us. I think Mallory is extremely underrated and I love her competitiveness, grit and love for the game. She will be a great addition to our program.

Gotschall will major in occupational therapy. She is the daughter of Dr. Matthew (seated right) and Michele (seated left) Gotschall of Columbus. Dr. Gotschall is the president of CCC-Columbus and will assume the presidency of the CCC system in January.
