Volleyball: Borchers Signs with the Raiders

Central Community College volleyball is pleased to announce the signing of Scotus Central Catholic High School senior Shania Borchers.

A prolific blocker for the Shamrocks, Borchers tallied nearly 100 career solo blocks to go along with nearly 150 kills this season.

"We are really excited to have Shania join our program," said CCC head coach Mary Young. "As a six-foot middle hitter, Shania will fill a void following the graduation of two of our powerful middles – Chainey Tompkin and fellow Scotus alum, Maeghan Pieper. Borchers has been well trained at Scotus and has a tremendous foundation to grow with the college game."

Borchers plans to major in nursing. She is the daughter of Clete and Lisa Borchers of Columbus.
