PHOENIX -- The Central Community College volleyball team's season came to end with a loss to Kirkwood in the seventh-place game in the national tournament in Phoenix.

The Raiders fell 26-24, 21-25, 25-18, 25-20. Morgan Nikkila led the Raiders with 16 assists and Payton Chohon added 13.

Keely Woods swatted eight kills and had three blocks. Hillary Thege had seven kills and four blocks. Riley Dorn had 44 assists and 21 digs.

The Raiders closed the season 31-15.
