NORTH PLATTE -- For the second straight night, The Central Community College volleyball team swept its opponent on the road.

The Raiders took down North Platte Community College 25-18, 25-18, 25-22. Payton Chohon had 17 kills and four blocks, while Keely Woods added 11 kills and three blocks.

"It's always good when you can win at North Platte," Central head coach Mary Young said. "I was really pleased with how our team came out. We passed the ball well. That set us up for a lot of success at the net. Keely Woods had a great night, Payton had a great night, but really, we had all of our hitters keep going at them."

Central setter Riley Dorn had 43 assists and Young said she was a key to their success.

"It was a really good team effort, and I thought Riley did a really good job distributing the ball," Young said. "There were times she bettered the ball. She got the ball to our hitters and took care of it. I was really pleased with how we played, overall."

The Raiders swept McCook Community College Wednesday and were looking to limit unforced errors against North Platte.

"I wasn't real pleased with our serving errors," Young said. "We let North Platte hang around a little, because we missed five serves in the second set. I though that was an area that we needed to do a better job. North Plate passed the ball better (than McCook) and their offense was running a little better."

Central hosts Northeast Community College Tuesday at the Raider Fieldhouse.

"For us, it's nice to get a little weekend break, but we're going to be have to be ready to play on Tuesday," Young said. "Northeast is a nice team."
