The Central Community College women's soccer team opened the 2023 season with a 3-0 win over Western Iowa Tech Community College at Raider Field.

Team captain Lilli Reiser scored the game's first goal thirty seconds into the contest when found the back of the net off the assist of Lened Reyes-Estrada (pictured). The remainder of the first half was scoreless and the Raiders led 1-0 at the half. Reyes-Estrada increased CCC's lead to 2-0 with a goal in the 74th minute with Abby Berger assisting. Six minutes later, Mathilde Holm-Kriste capped the scoring as Reyes-Estrada logged her second assist of the game. The shutout remained intact, and the Raiders posted the 3-0 win.

CCC goalie Kaya Knapke tallied a pair of saves.

"I was really pleased with the effort the ladies gave and, of course, it's always nice to get the win," said CCC head coach Jamie Bennett.
