Women’s Basketball: Texas Recruit Signs with CCC

Central Community College women's basketball is pleased to announce the signing of Reis Haynes (seated center), a senior from Seymour High School in Texas.

Haynes helped lead the Panthers to a 23-9 overall record in 2017-18, which included a first-round game in the state post-season tournament. She was coached by Doug Hunt (standing left). Haynes earned District 9-2A Honorable Mention honors during her senior, junior and sophomore campaigns. She also earned district all-academic honors. Haynes also participated in cross-country, track and field and softball.

"Reis is a good athlete she has been very successful in high school in all her sports and is going to bring a winning culture," said CCC head coach Billy Perkins. "She is going really help us on both ends of the floor."

Haynes will major in nursing at CCC. She is the daughter of Rob (seated left) and Melanie Haynes (seated right).

Also joining Haynes at the signing was her grandmother, Melissa Willden (standing center), and Seymour girls basketball assistant coach Shawna Monreal (standing right).
