Three members of the Central Community College women's basketball team have been named to the Nebraska Community College Athletic Conference (NCCAC) All-Conference team.

Sophomores Payton Blanke, Quenshae Love and Maddy Wolfe were named to the All-Conference squad, while CCC head coach Billy Perkins was named Coach of the Year along with Lynn Schlake, head coach of Southeast Community College.

"I am very proud of these three girls," said Perkins. "From day one, I have set a standard for them and they have embraced it. They have done a good job in believing in our process and what I expected of them, both on and off the court."

Blanke started in 28 of 29 games and averaged 12.4 points per game and 9.2 rebounds per game. She shot 46 percent from the floor, 24 percent from three-point range and 69 percent at the free throw line. Additionally, Blanke led the Raiders in double-doubles with 11.

"Payton is such a dependable player," said Perkins. "She does not take many shots, but she is very efficient on the offensive end. Payton takes a lot of pride in rebounding and has done an excellent job on the boards. As one of our team captains, she has done a good of job leading the team."

Love averaged 15 points per game and 2.8 rebounds in 21 games. She shot 39 percent in field goal shooting, 19 percent from beyond the arc and 65 percent at the charity stripe.

"I am proud of Quenshae," said Perkins. "Because of team changes, she had to transition from shooting guard to point guard and has done a good job adjusting and owning the positon."

Wolfe started in all 29 CCC games and averaged 15 points per game and 9.6 rebounds per game. She finished at 38 percent field goal shooting, 15 percent shooting from three-point range and 58 percent shooting at the free throw line.

"Maddy has developed into a good post player and does a good job of bringing energy to the team," said Perkins. "She is also a team captain and has done a good job in keeping the team together through some rough times. Maddy also brings a fun side to our team."

Perkins is his first year of leading the CCC women's basketball team following 19 years of leading high school squads in Texas.

"What an honor it is to be named Coach of the Year by the NCCAC" said Perkins. "I am so blessed to be able to coach these players. If it were not for their dedication and commitment to the program and to each other, this honor would not be possible."

The Raiders finished the season with a record of 9-21 following an 83-57 loss at Southeast Community College in the Region IX Tournament championship game on Monday night.
