The Central Community College women's basketball team lost to Des Moines Area Community College, 93-54, in second round action of the Emerson Classic in Marshalltown, Iowa.

DMACC held the Raiders to 24 percent shooting from the floor and won the rebounding battle, 47-31.

Three CCC players scored in double figures with Maddy Wolfe leading the way with 17 points. Lexie Bacon finished with 16 points, while Shanelle Wong-Sang recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

With the loss, the Raiders are now 2-5 overall.

Up next, CCC will travel to McCook Community College for a Tuesday night contest.
