The Central Community College women's basketball team lost to Iowa Central Community College, 70-57, on Monday night at Raider Fieldhouse.

The Tritons jumped out to a 28-18 lead in the first quarter and went on to lead 41-28 at halftime. The Raiders outscored the Tritons in the third period, but 30 percent shooting from the floor and 54 percent at the free throw line was too much to overcome.

CCC's Quenshae Love led all scorers with 25 points, while Maddy Wolfe logged a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds.

The loss gives the Raiders a 1-2 mark heading into Thursday night's contest against York JV. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at Raider Fieldhouse.
