Game 2: SCC 7  CCC 6

The Bobcats staged a successful rally in the nightcap as they scored a pair runs in the bottom of the eighth to post a 7-6 victory. The Raiders scored four runs in the third inning and added another in the fifth inning. Southeast scored two runs in the fourth inning and belted three in the bottom of the seventh to tie the contest, 5-5. CCC went up 6-5 in the top of the eighth before Southeast scored the winning runs.

CCC pitcher Andrea Palmer struck out five Bobcat batters over six innings before taking the loss. Haley Johnson, McKinna Moats and Jaidyn Walford each logged a homerun.

"This past week we started to see more consistency in our lineup," said CCC head coach Caitlin Simon. "There are still things to clean up, but I am proud of the focus the team has put on hitting. Defensively, when our pitchers are doing their job, we need to have a better approach and keep things simple."
