Central Community College softball will host the Region 9 post-season tournament this weekend at Raider Field. As the top seed, the Raiders (15-26) received a first-round bye.

Game one takes place at 12 noon on Saturday between Southeast Community College (10-28) and North Platte Community College (5-32). The game one winner will take on the Central Community College at 2 p.m.

The action resumes on Sunday at 11 a.m. when the losers of games one and two face off. The championship game follows at 1 p.m. as the winner of games two and three battle it out. If a fifth game is necessary, it will be played at 3 p.m.

The Region 9 champion will meet the Region 11-A champion in a best-of-three series on Friday, May 13.
