In CCC's final game of the tournament, Iowa Central defeated the Raiders, 10-4. Cast (3-2) took the loss.

"The record on the weekend doesn't show how competitive we actually were," said CCC head coach Caitlin Simon. "For us to compete against a nationally-ranked team this early on in the season says a lot about the potential we have. Our pitching is starting to come alive and if we can eliminate giving teams free bases, things are going to start going our way. I'm proud of the competitiveness and if we bring that each day, it will be a special year."
