Central Community College softball is pleased to announce the signing of Jenessa Grooms, a pitcher from Ord High School.

"Jenessa is a great student that has lots of quality leadership skills to go along with her softball skills," said CCC head coach Jack Gutierrez. "She recently underwent shoulder surgery and we are hoping she has a quick and full recovery. Jenessa will help us in the circle with untapped potential."

Grooms plans to major in elementary education at CCC. She is the daughter of Jeff and Jennifer Grooms of Ord.
