Central Community College softball is pleased to announce the signing of Kaitlyn Kleinheksel, a senior from Lakeview High School.

A three-year starter at first base, Kleinheksel led the Vikings with 14 RBIs, while batting .292 as a senior. She was coached at Lakeview by Erica Zywiec (standing left).

"Kaitlyn brings a big bat and a calm in her game at the plate and defensively," said CCC head Jack Gutierrez (standing right), who has known Kleinheksel since her days in the 10-and-under ranks. "She will play first base for us and we're looking forward to her solid work ethic."

Kleinheksel will major in business. She is the daughter of James (seated right) and Debi (seated left) Kleinheksel of Columbus.
