The Central Community College men's soccer team lost in overtime at Allen County (Kan.) Community College, 3-2, on Saturday.

The Raiders scored a pair of goals in the first half. The first was scored by Ivan Lopez with Charlie Orsler on the assist, followed by an unassisted goal scored by Marc Ackerman. CCC kept the Red Devils at bay in the first half and held a 2-0 lead at halftime. Allen County matched CCC by scoring goals in the 46th and 82nd minutes for a 2-2 tie at the end of regulation. Four minutes into the extra session, Allen County's Cillian Giligan scored the game-winning goal.

CCC netminder Rodolfo Ramirez logged three saves.

"This game was a tough loss because I felt as though we were the better team," said CCC head coach Luis Pulido. "Allen County did a good job of punishing us for the mistakes we made and that was enough for them to get the result."

The loss gives CCC at 6-6-2 record heading into Wednesday's contest against Southeast Community College. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. at Raider Field.
