Central Community College dropped its first game of the season with a 6-0 shutout at Cloud Community College on Friday.

The T-Birds scored their first goal in the twelfth minute when Skylar Muzzy booted a goal off the assist of Roberto Gomes. Six minutes later, Cloud County made it 2-0 off a free kick as Luiz Garcia found the back of the net from 30 yards out. T-Bird midfielder Ryan Medillah scored a pair of goals to close out the first half as Cloud County took a 4-0 advantage into the break.

Muzzy scored his second goal of the day early in the second half to make the score 5-0 for the T-Birds. Aleksandar Pumpalovic closed out the scoring with a penalty kick with twelve minutes remaining for the 6-0 final.

The Raiders will open Region IX on Friday, Sept. 2, as they travel to La Junta, Colo., to take on the Rattlers of Otero Junior College. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m.
