Central Community College men's basketball is pleased to announce the signing of Caleb Muia, a 2019 graduate of Girard High School in Kansas.

Muia helped lead the Trojans to the Kansas 3A state championship, the first in program history. He averaged a double-double throughout his high school career with 24.2 points and 10 rebounds per game. As a senior, Muia was named Kansas Class 3A Player of the Year and the Sports in Kansas All-State All-Classes Boys Basketball First Team.

"Caleb will provide some much-needed size and athleticism on the perimeter," said CCC head coach John Ritzdorf. "Defensively, he can guard multiple positions and does a good job of getting in passing lanes. Offensively, he is solid in transition and finishes well at the basket. I expect him to make an immediate impact."

Muia will be an academic transfer at CCC. He is the son of Joseph and Cindi Muia of Girard, Kan.
