Men’s Basketball: Cleveland Coming to CCC

Central Community College men's basketball is pleased to announce the signing of MaNaPe Cleveland, a 2108 graduate of Winnebago High School.

Cleveland led the Indians to the 2018 class C1 championship game, averaging 17.3 points per game in the NSAA tournament. He was named the C1 All-Tournament team. During Cleveland's junior year, he led the Indians to the consolation game of the C1 NSAA Tournament. He earned Honorable Mention honors for the 2016-17 season.

"MaNaPe comes to CCC from a very successful high school program," said CCC head coach Jerry Drymon. "He played in several state tournaments and hit some big shots to win and tie games at state. MaNaPe is used to a style of play that we like to run, so it should be a seamless transition for him. He is a quiet, but focused, kid who has a plan for what he wants to accomplish on and off the floor."

Cleveland plans to major in biology at CCC.
