CONCORDIA, Kan. -- For one half, the Raiders kept up with the undefeated Thunderbirds.

Unfortunately for the Central Community College men's basketball team, the damage had been done as Cloud County Community College downed the Raiders 92-72 Tuesday in Concordia, Kansas.

The Raiders struggled offensively out of the gate, only recording 26 first-half points.

Central's offensive woes allowed Cloud County to run away with a 20-point lead by halftime.

The Raiders were much more competitive with the Thunderbirds in the second half, tying Cloud County 46-all in the final 20 minutes.

Leading the way for Central was the 6-foot-6 Matthew McLeod, who tallied 17 points in the loss.

Shawn Robinson added 12 points, while Thomas Johnson and Connor Long each chipped in 11 points apiece.

Nine of Long's 11 points came from 3-point range -- a team-high for the Raiders.

Central drops to 1-10 on the season and travel to Southwestern Community College Saturday.
