Welcome Letter from Athletic Director Jack Gutierrez.

As athletic director of the 6 Raider programs, 3 male and 3 female, the sports have flourished into national contenders. With area talent the teams continue to compete at a very high level and with the growth of Central and their athletic programs, Gutierrez sees good things on the horizon.

Women's volleyball continues to qualify for the NJCAA national tournament year in and year out and they dominate the Nebraska Community College Athletic Conference under the direction of Coach Mary Young.

Men's basketball is on the rise under Coach Jerry Drymon.

The women's basketball team finished runner-up in the Region under Coach Kroupa and return a good nucleus of the team for 2015-16.

Women's softball anticipates good things for 2015-16 with returning starters at every position and a solid recruiting class.

Men's soccer enjoyed a very good return to the list of sports programs. In 2014 they finished 4th in Region IX. New coach Tony Ordorisio brings an exciting game plan to the team.

Men's golf is competing hard under the direction of Coach Mike Kroupa and they are anxiously anticipating good things at in 2015-16.

"We are always looking to upgrade things for our teams and coaches and feel fortunate to have a good crew of coaches and assistants to make things function at such a high level."

"With Sara Rood as our athletic administrative assistant, attention to detail has been noticeable in the athletic department and we appreciate all that Sara brings to our athletic family."

Jack is in his 36th year at Central. He has 3 children, Drew 31 Omaha, Jake 30 Columbus and Jaisa 25 Omaha. Jack's wife Kelly is employed at East Central District Health Department.
