Zack Wayman
Title: Assistant Soccer Coach

Zack Wayman is in his second year as the assistant Central Community College men's soccer program. He is also the head girls soccer coach at Columbus High School, a position he has held since 2020. In that time, Wayman has won at least 10 games each season with multiple top 10 finishes in Class A soccer. In addition to his coaching duties, he teaches social studies at CHS.

Previously, Wayman taught at Osceola middle school for a year and taught and coached boys soccer at Lexington High School for two seasons. He helped lead the Minutemen to the Class B state semifinals in 2019. 

Wayman has garnered coaching experience with Kearney-based Nebraska United men's club team, and he coached a boys club soccer team while attending the University of Nebraska-Kearney.

Along with his coaching positions at CHS and CCC, he also assists with the AYSO developmental league in Columbus and the Columbus Soccer Club.
