The Central Community College women's soccer team lost to the Morningside University JV, 2-1, on Saturday in Sioux City, Iowa.
The Mustangs scored their first goal in the 20th minute of the game and their second in the 50th minute. The Raiders avoided the shutout as Steph Adby scored a goal in the 65th minute with Lara Eckwert (pictured) on the assist. CCC was unable to score again and left town with the 2-1 loss.
CCC goalie Natalie Crouse faced five shots on goal and totaled three saves.
The 2-3-1 Raiders will return to action on Wednesday as they host Hesston College. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. at Raider Field.
