Central Community College women's soccer is pleased to announce the signing of Kaylee Gerber, a senior at Columbus High School.

Gerber earned all-academic honors and received the Discoverers Most Improved Player Award and Spirit Award. She was also a member of the CHS softball team.

"Anytime we can get a local kid with Kaylee's potential and work ethic, it's a great thing," said CCC head coach Jamie Bennett. "I'm really excited about her joining the Raider family."

Gerber is an undecided major. She is the daughter of Mike and Wendy Gerber of Columbus.

"I'm really excited," said Gerber. "I can't wait to start playing for CCC. I'm a little nervous, but I'm excited.
