Women’s Soccer: CCC Signs LHS Player

Central Community College women's soccer is pleased to announce the signing of Karla Garcia Galvan, a senior at Lexington High School.

In 2019, Garcia Galvan helped the Minutemaids complete their best record in program history at 7-4.

"I can't wait to start this new journey in my life," said Garcia Galvan. "I know for a fact that I will have a good time at CCC. It will feel just like home."

Garcia Galvan was also a member of the LHS cross country team.

"I'm excited to see Karla play this year," said CCC head coach Jamie Bennett. "She had a good junior year and I was planning on her taking a big jump this year. However, due to the COVID outbreak, we will have to wait until August. I expect her to contribute in the attack at some point this year."

Garcia Galvan will major in criminal justice at CCC. She is the daughter of Juan Manuel Garcia and Ana Maria Galvan.
