Women’s Soccer: Raiders Sign Fisher

Central Community College women's soccer is pleased to announce the signing of Emily Fisher, a senior at Yutan high School.

Fisher (pictured right) is unique in that she did not play high school soccer, but she has lots of experience in club soccer. However, she participated in cheer cross country, track and football. Fisher was the placekicker for the Chieftains varsity football squad for two years. She earned academic all-state honors in football and track.

"Emily is kind of a diamond in the rough," said CCC head coach Jamie Bennett. "While she did not play high school soccer, she has played club soccer for some of the better coaches in the state. Emily understands the game and has good skills. I am looking forward to watching her polish her game at CCC."

Fisher will be an academic transfer major at CCC. She is the daughter of Jeremy and Jenny Fisher.
