Central Community College women's soccer is pleased to announce the signing of Sydney Weiler, a senior at Kearney High School.

Weiler is an outside defender for the Bearcats and is also involved with Nebraska Select Girls Soccer. She is a four-year member of the KHS student council as well as choir and show choir. Weiler previously earned all-academic honors.

"I am very excited to have Sydney sign with the Raiders women's soccer program," said CCC head coach Jamie Bennett. "I saw her play on my first recruiting visit and she caught my eye with her tenacious defense and her field IQ.  She is a great student and a great person on and off the field and I am really looking forward to having her on the team next year."

Weiler will be an academic transfer at CCC. She is the daughter of Dave and Susan Weiler of Kearney.
