The Central Community College women's basketball team lost to Northeast Community College, 79-61, on Tuesday night at the Raider Fieldhouse.

The Hawks took control early by holding the Raiders to 10 points in the first quarter and nine points in the second en route to a 44-19 halftime lead. CCC outscored Northeast in both the third and fourth periods but could not overcome the first half deficit.

Aubry Saleapaga led CCC in scoring with 16 points while Nikie Nelson (pictured) recorded a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.

The loss gives the Raiders an 0-12 record heading into this weekend's Southeast Community College Holiday Classic in Lincoln. On Friday, CCC will battle Highland (Kan.) Community College at 2 p.m. On Saturday, the Raiders will meet Allen County (Kan.) Community College at 12 noon.
