Women’s Basketball: McCook Defeats CCC

The Central Community College women's basketball team lost to McCook Community College, 71-61, on Tuesday night at the Raider Fieldhouse.

The Raiders won the opening quarter, 18-11, before the Indians took the second quarter, 23-11, and led 34-29 at halftime. The third quarter was even as both teams scored 15 points apiece. McCook won the game with a 22-17 advantage in the fourth period for the 10-point victory.

Aubry Saleapaga (#22) topped CCC in scoring with 25 points, while Nikie Nelson logged double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds. Makenna Pelster rounded out the double-digit scoring with a dozen points.
