The Central Community College women's basketball team closed out the 2021 season with a 69-33 loss at North Platte Community College in the opening round of the Region IX tournament.
The Raiders trailed 19-9 at the end of the first quarter and then watched as the Knights built a 16-point lead en route to a 31-16 halftime lead.
In the third period, Central was held to nine points and North Platte never let up as it built a 32-point lead in the fourth quarter before moving on in the tournament with the 69-33 victory.
With the loss, the Raiders finished the season with a mark of 3-17.
