Women's Basketball: CCC Signs Texas Player

Central Community College women's basketball is pleased to announce the signing of Arlene Saucedo, a senior at San Elizario High School in El Paso, Texas.

Suacedo played both point and shooting guard and averaged just over nine points and three steals per game for the Eagles.

"I am very excited and blessed to have been given the opportunity to be a part of the CCC Raiders women's basketball program," said Saucedo. "I am forever grateful to be able to continue my studies while playing the game that I love."

Saucedo also participated in cross country and softball.

"Arlene has a solid work ethic and will help us get where we want to go as a program," said CCC head coach Billy Perkins. "She has played against great competition in Texas and she brings quickness and a solid defense to our team."

Saucedo will be an academic transfer major at CCC. She is the daughter of Jorge Saucedo and Vanessa Rangel of El Paso.
