Women’s Basketball: Thege Signs with Raiders

Central Community College women's basketball is pleased to announce the signing of Macey Thege, a senior at Aquinas Catholic High School in David City.

Thege averaged 12.5 points and 4.2 rebounds per game during her senior campaign. She was named All-State Honorable Mention by the Omaha World-Herald and All-State C-2 Honorable Mention by the Lincoln Star-Journal.

"I am super excited to have the opportunity to stay close to home and play the sport I am so passionate about," said Thege.

Thege also participated in track and volleyball.

"Macey will be a great asset to our program," said CCC head coach Billy Perkins. "She is aggressive and can play many different positions, which will create different mismatches. Macey plays hard and has had great success during her high school career, which will help maintain a high standard that CCC strives for."

Thege will major in nursing at CCC. She is the daughter of Chad and Darcy Thege of David City.
