The Raiders battled back from a seven-point deficit with under five minutes to play and held on for a 63-61 victory over Southeast Community College to claim the Region IX title.

CCC was led in scoring by Jasmine Williams with 20 points, while Monica Brooks scored a dozen points. Allanah Beller rounded out the double-digit scoring with 10 points.

With the win, the Raiders are 14-13.

CCC advances to the district round and will take on the winner of Sunday's Region XIII title game between United Tribes Technical College and Gogebic Community College. Complete details will be posted as soon as possible.
