Women’s Basketball: Raiders Tame The Bulldogs

The Central Community College women's basketball team defeated Concordia JV, 78-66, on Tuesday at Raider Fieldhouse. With the win, CCC completed a two-game sweep of the season series with Concordia JV.
The Raiders led 35-32 at the half and outscored the Bulldogs, 22-14, in the third quarter. CCC was able to hang on in the final stanza to post the win.
Alexis Ramaekers led the Raiders with 19 points, while Monica Brooks (pictured) logged a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Sarah Monahan finished with 11 points.
The win gives CCC a 6-12 season record.
On Saturday, the Raiders return to action with a road contest at Southeast Community College at 2 p.m.
