Central Community College softball is pleased to announce the signing of Claire Kreutzer, a senior at Amherst High School.

Kreutzer (seated second from right) plays outfield for the Kearney Catholic/Amherst softball team that went 15-12 in 2023. She sported a .955 fielding percentage and a 96.00 stolen base percentage. At the plate, Kreutzer finished with a .319 batting average.

"Claire is a great addition being a switch hitter with speed," said CCC head coach Caitlin Simon. "I am looking forward to getting her on campus and working with her as a switch hitter and competitive outfielder."

At Amherst, Kreutzer plays on the Broncos' girls basketball squad and participates in track and field.

Kreutzer will be an occupational therapy assistant major at CCC. She is the daughter of Chad and Codi Kreutzer of Amherst.
