Softball: Raiders Sign CHS Teammates

Central Community College softball is pleased to announce the signings of Hannah Dahlke and Jordyn Trotta, both seniors at Columbus High School.

Dahlke (left) is an outfielder who sported a .269 batting average during her senior campaign along with 10 RBIs and a homerun. She also had a .918 fielding percentage. As a junior, Dahlke's batting average was .290 and she totaled 13 RBIs and one homerun. She is a three-year letter winner and earned Heartland Athletic Conference academic honors for two years. Dahlke, who also participated in track and field, was the recipient of the Discoverer Way Award.

"We are excited to keep local talent local," said CCC head coach Caitlin Simon. "Hannah is a solid outfielder and I'm excited to see her compete here next year."

Dahlke will be an academic transfer major at CCC. She is the daughter of Jill and Monte Dahlke of Columbus.

Trotta (right) is a shortstop and posted a .339 batting average in 2023 and a .936 fielding average. During her junior year, she earned all-state honors. Trotta also plays basketball and soccer for the Discoverers.

"Jordyn's athleticism is what makes her such a good softball player," said Simon. "She is a versatile player, and I am excited to have her bat and speed."

Trotta will be an academic transfer major at CCC. She is the daughter of Beverly and Anthony Trotta of Columbus.
