Central Community College softball is pleased to announce the signing of McKinna Moats, a 2022 graduate of Lexington High School.

Moats sported a .476 batting average and belted 14 homeruns during her senior campaign at LHS. Career-wise, she recorded 39 homers and 155 RBIs. Moats was named to the Lincoln Journal-Star Class B All-State Honorable Mention and was the recipient of the United States Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award. She earned the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association Academic All-State Award as a junior and senior.

"McKinna has been on our radar since fall, and we're excited she has decided to become a Raider," said CCC head coach Caitlin Simon. "Her competitiveness is something we can't wait to see on the field."

In addition to softball, Moats participated in basketball, bowling, powerlifting and track and field.

Moats is undecided on a major. She is the daughter of Troy Moats and Nikki Moats.
