Central Community College softball is pleased to announce the signing of Andrea Fernandez, a 2020 graduate of West Jordan High School in Utah.

Fernandez was a four-year player for the Jaguars and sported a .283 career batting average. She recorded 52 hits, 49 runs and 32 RBIs. Fernandez also played club softball for the Utah Sting.

"We are very excited to welcome Andrea," said CCC head coach Caitlin Simon. "Andrea is going to come into this program with a lot a fire and energy, having missed out on her senior season. I know she will do everything she can to make herself successful both on and off the field." 

Fernandez will be a dental hygiene major at CCC. She is the daughter of Timothy and Pamela Neilson of Grantsville, Utah.
