Central Community College softball is pleased to announce the signing of Larissa Rother, a senior at Columbus High School.

Rother (seated center) played for one season with the Discoverers and was a solid performer at pitching and hitting. She earned All-State Honorable Mention, All-GNAC and Academic All-GNAC honors. Rother was coached by Paul Braun (standing left).

"Larissa is going to be an impact player right away for the Raiders," said CCC head coach Jack Gutierrez (standing right). "She is a power pitcher and will also help us at the plate."

Rother will major in psychology at CCC. Her parents are Josh Fricke (seated left) and Norma Rodriguez (seated right).
