Golf: CCC Takes Second at Home Tri-Meet

The Central Community College golf team placed second in a tri-meet with Northeast Community College and Mount Marty University JV on Monday at Elks Country Club.

The Northeast Hawks took tops in team scoring at 324, while the Raiders finished with a team score of 334. The Mount Marty Lancers placed third with a team score of 352.

Individually, CCC's Christian Jewel (pictured left) scored a 77, while Darian Hutto was two strokes behind at 79. Dalton Jerabek (pictured right) carded an 87, Jared Engel a 91 and Colin Springer a 98.

"I was very pleased with the improvement over last week's team score," said CCC head coach Warren Kuhl. "We saw a better mental approach and benefitted from some of our practice habits."

On Tuesday, the Raiders will participate in the Midland University Invitational at the Fremont Country Club. Tee time is set for 10:30 a.m.
