Men’s Basketball: Raiders Bounce Bobcats

Frank Keller poured in a career-high 24 points to lead the Raiders to a 91-64 win over Southeast Community College on Sunday at the Raider Fieldhouse.

The game was close for the first 12 minutes as SCC held a slim 15-14 lead off Carson Brown's three-point basket. It would be the last lead for the Bobcats as the Raiders held SCC scoreless over a six-minute stretch to take a 47-30 halftime lead. The Raiders did not let up in the second half and built their biggest lead of 29 en route to the win.

"I was really proud of the guys for how they responded to Tuesday's close loss," said CCC head coach John Ritzdorf. "Our team defense was very good today and we are continuing to share the ball and play unselfishly on offense."

Joining Keller in the double-digit scoring column was Blake Daberkow with 17 points and Dakarai Davis (pictured) with 14 points.

"Frank made a ton of energy plays and Blake has continued his outstanding play," Ritzdorf said. "Dakarai played really well for the third game in a row."

The win gives the Raiders a 14-8 mark heading into Tuesday night's game at North Platte Community College. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
