
The Central Community College men's basketball team lost at Northeastern Junior College, 86-60, on Thursday evening.
The Plainsmen set the tone early with a 14-2 run over the first eight minutes. NJC went on to post a 42-23 halftime lead. In the second half, Northeastern built its biggest lead of the game at 30 points at the 13:42 mark and went on to the victory.
Dwight Glover led the Raiders with 14 points, while Michael Ozomah finished with 11 points.
CCC has dropped its last two games for a 7-10 record.
The Raiders return home for a Monday night game against North Central Missouri College. The Tigers were victorious over CCC, 85-60, on Feb. 20 in Trenton, Mo. Game time is set for 6 p.m. at the Raider Fieldhouse.
