The Central Community College men's basketball team defeated Doane University JV, 100-63, on Thursday night in Crete.

The Raiders made 14 three-point baskets out of 27 attempts (52 percent) on the night.

Cooper Pratt led five CCC players in double figures with 18 points. CCC head coach John Ritzdorf made particular mention of Pratt following the contest.

"I loved how aggressive (Cooper) was and I think the rest of our team fed off his energy," said Ritzdorf. "He brought tons of energy early in the game with offensive rebounds and finishing around the basket." 

Roman Behrens tallied 17 points to go along with eight assists. Tre Mikkelsen scored 16 points, while Tre'vion Crawford and Dwight Glover each scored a dozen apiece.

"We bounced back from a tough loss the other night," said Ritzdorf. "We were definitely more locked in from the tip, which allowed us to get off to a quick start."

The win gives the Raiders an 11-8 mark on the season.

Up next, CCC will meet Hastings College JV on Saturday in Hastings. Tip-off is set for 11:30 a.m.
