Men’s Basketball: CCC Signs ONHS Post Player

Central Community College men's basketball is pleased to announce the signing of Emarr Vinson, a 2019 graduate of Omaha North High School.

As a senior, Vinson averaged 5.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game.

"I chose CCC to learn and get better on and off the court," said Vinson. "I am looking forward to learning from everybody, especially the team veterans. I am also looking forward to getting to know people and having that connection with my teammates, so I can learn how to better myself as an individual."

Vinson brings some much-needed size to the post as he stands 6-foot-8.

"Emarr will be an immediate help, especially defensively and on the boards," said CCC head coach John Ritzdorf. "Emarr is an outstanding young man, who has just scratched the surface of his potential. I expect him to be able to quickly improve his skill set and help our team right away."

Vinson will be an academic transfer major at CCC.
